"Azerbaijani Army carries out counter-offensive operation against the enemy in difficult climate and fortification conditions," Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said.

Mr Hajiyev said that had been built deep fortification systems in the occupied territories for 30 years: "In some places, the length of these fortifications reaches 8-10 meters. The terrain is also difficult, and as you know, these places are mostly mountainous. However, despite these difficulties, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are moving forward step by step. Our soldiers are moving forward, silencing the enemy's firing points, and sometimes under fire. The fortification systems built by Armenia for many years are being destroyed. Currently, there is snow in Murov, it is winter. In those difficult climatic conditions, at an altitude of 3300-3500 meters, our soldiers are fighting valiantly for our lands, liberating our lands. We are proud of them."

Mr Hajiyev  noted that Azerbaijani people will never forget the friendly states who support them and hypocrites: “The work of Azerbaijani state is right work. Azerbaijan is working to eliminate the consequences of the Armenian aggression. After the end of the occupation, a fertile condition for the development of the region will occur.”

The assistant to the President of Azerbaijan noted that there is a national solidarity in the country: “Liberation of the lands is the demand of the Azerbaijani people. The solution of the conflict beyond will of the Azerbaijani people doesn’t exist. In this regard, we highly appreciate the support of brotherly Turkey to Azerbaijan. President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the lands haven’t been liberated despite of holding of negotiations for 30 years. We once again convey the gratitude of President Ilham Aliyev. We also highly appreciate the support by Pakistan. We highly appreciate the support by Hungary, the Turkic Council and OIC to Azerbaijan”.

"The Armenian people must realize that they are victims and must esccape from the criminal regime in Armenia," Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said.

Mr Hajiyev noted that in recent days information about people of Armenian origin in foreign countries especially in Greece coming to the occupied territoriues of Azerbaijan and to battle, are entered: “ We call on these countries to refrain from such provocations against Azerbaijan. In case of the citizens of these countries participate in military operations they turn into legitimate military targets. We call on these countries to take measures in order to prevent in these provocations. Armenians living in Armenia has cyber attack, millions of cyber attacks are carried out.” 

"Armenia invites foreign journalists under different pretexts and takes them to Nagorno-Karabakh, trying turn them into a target," Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said.

Mr Hajiyev again appealed to foreign journalists visiting the occupied territories of Azerbaijan: "We once again call on foreign journalists to refrain from visiting the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. It is illegal to visit these territories without the consent of Azerbaijan. As these territories are occupied, Azerbaijan is not responsible for the safety of journalists in those territories. This responsibility falls on Armenia and the toy regime. These journalists are deliberately brought to the firing range."

"Armenia circulates lies and misinformation," Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said.

According to him, Armenia claimed that the plane taking of from this country was shot down by an F-16: "Azerbaijan has proved that two military planes trying to attack our country collided in the air or hit a mountain and exploded."

Mr Hajiyev noted that the Facebook page of Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan posted news on the alleged existence PUA over the sky of Yerevan yesterday: “Then the news spread that the Armenian Defense Ministry allegedly shot down drones. But then it turned out to be photoshop. The Armenian leadership is attempting to frighten its people with photoshops. Falsification related to photoshops made by Armenia is revealed.

H. Hajiyev brought into notice that as it was declared by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, we have nothing to do with the Armenian people, the civilian population: “We call on civilians to stay away from military facilities. In this case, their safety can be ensured."

"Course of operations shows that the Azerbaijani Army destroys the enemy's military infrastructure using drones and high technology," Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said.

Mr Hajiyev noted that this substantially shakes the resistance of the Armenian armed forces: “Serious blows were inflicted on the main logistics and ammunition depots of the Armenian armed forces. This has strongly reduced the resistance of the Armenian armed forces located on this front. Armenia has constructed military fortification systems and material and technical bases in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan for 30 years. Their destruction in a short time means the destruction of the combat resistance of the Armenian armed forces.”

“This is a patriotic war,”  Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said.
